Royal Mail Signed For – Reduced Loss Cover at Post Office

If you use Royal Mail Signed For service at the Post Office you should note the £50 loss cover has been reduced to £20 recently. This is the same level of cover as the ordinary post. Found this out when the Post Office tried to get me to use Special Delivery at almost £10 to cover a small parcel worth £30. The Royal Mail Signed For service with increased loss cover is now only sold online.
