      Hi Guys,

trying to find the full size drawings that were a lift out from MEW june/july 1991.

This was for the Countershaft clutch for the Myford ML7.

Hi dochaliday, although it looks like the two full size plans are lost, A4 pages 1 to 8 can be found here https://www.model-engineer.co.uk/796/free-plan-a-clutch-for-the-ml7-lathe/

You should be able to download and print them and these pages will slightly overlap, and can be trimmed and glued together to make the full size plans. You will have to scroll down to the bottom to find them.

        Regards Nick.

As usual, the full size plan is contained in these two lowres jpeg files

The PDFs are much nicer !!

                Thanks for pointing that out.

For some reason, the stitched-together images did not upload at full (best) size.

Each single page pdf arrives in Irfanview as 793 x 1123 pixels. There is some overlap on the pages, but the stitched together images on my computer are each roughly 3000 x 1123, so no worse resolution than the single page pdfs.

If you know of a way to put the full image into a post (or a pdf, which I made at A2 paper size), I would be glad to know.

                Thanks.

Hi DC31K, the original drawings were scanned at 300dpi and were saved as TIFF images and then converted to PDF’s. which is what Neil uploaded to the website.

The individual pages should print out to whatever size paper you use and the settings that you apply. The scan below was printed out from a downloaded page 1 PDF from this website, minus the black boarder. So what you see in the scan, is the actual size printed onto a A4 sheet of plain paper, using my old Canon iP1000 Pixma printer.

                  Regards Nick.

Hi Doc, I have a full set of MEW including all the pull out drawings ! I have just checked and could copy the drawings you need and post to you if that’s any help – I’m not clever like the other fellows with scanners and all this modern kit. Noel.
