All that annoying Warco pop up is going to do is persuade me never to buy anything from them ever again!

Don’t be too quick to punish Warco.  I doubt they wanted their ad to be an annoying pop-up. Not Warco’s fault.

Inappropriate advert balance is a reported issue.      I disabled my ad-blocker when browsing the old forum because the ads were mostly sensible and useful.  At the moment I have ‘AdBlocker Ultimate’ switched on, I hope temporarily, and it removes the worst.

I don’t mind static adverts, and I don’t mind those that scroll through several images. The pop up Warco advert though is very annoying. Surely someone can do something about it or are we always going to have to suffer pop ups like this?!

I’ve now installed an ad blocker which stops all the adverts. I’d prefer not to have to use it but the pop ups really spoil this site.

Agreed to the annoyance by the pop up. I use a tablet to view the site, the pop up blocks one third of the screen, so much so that now the tablet keyboard has appeared it blocks my view of the posting page. I cannot see what I type.

As I go to each new page up it comes again, it is beyond irritating. I do not want to install a blocker (my tablet is old so probably won’t support it anyway) as it is good to know warco have a sale, but not every ten seconds.

I used to dip into this forum several times a day.

Now it’s once every couple of weeks.

The reason? This damn Warco pop up.

Is anyone taking any notice of the criticisms?

And still when I click on it on my iPad it takes me to Advintage, not Warco.  But it does seem to have shrunk a bit.

Browsing around to find out something about Advintage.net

I discovered this sign-in page for Revive Adserver

                    https://advintage.net/adserver/www/admin/index.php

                    .

                    This rather worries me.

What is the Warco pop-up that is being referred to?

I only see a static Warco ad at the top of the page.

Hi Ian, you’ll probably find it if you visit this site on your phone or a tablet.

                          Regards Nick.

Yes I have seen it now on my Android phone. Its tiny though and as I never had need to scroll right to the page bottom normally had not seen it.

If you try using an Ipad, tablet or phone to actualy post etc you will soon find the pop up is very off putting.

The abundance of “in your face” adverts on this site makes me a lot less likely to take any notice of them.  So what’s the point?
