I tend to use Dormer series A002 for normal length drills and A022 for stub length.

There ctr drills are OK but I only use them when a ctr is needed rest of the time I find stub drills far better for locating a hole prior to drilling and they are less likely to get damaged.

ARC are one source you could try.

OK, thanks. I forgot to mention I’m intending to drill holes in 3mm aluminium.

I bought Dormer drills sets at a show from a trader who retired a few years ago. Invaluable.

Now I would now use Drill Services of Horley. They really supply to industry but they are quite happy to take anyone’s money. If you order before mid afternoon they provide a next day delivery service (Post Office willing).
