I wonder if some of the Loco builders could advise me on what alloys to use when making superheaters. I am about to attempt my first set of superheater elements, made from copper and I am unsure what brazing alloy to use on the return bends. The bends are contained within the tube as opposed to protruding through into the firebox as a radiant type. I have available the standard easyflo no2 also C4 and B6 alloys, I dont know what the modern classification for them is, Can the smokebox end joints be done in easyflo? Thanks for reading this.
