      Hi There
Does anyone know the real identity of Geometer

Some say Ian Bradley but in a Model Engineer in 1964 it said Geometer is ill.
In the next Model Engineer, George Gentry had passed on.

No more Geometer columns appeared but Ian Bradley continued writing for many hunreds more issues.

      regards David

          David,

Per Ron Chernich’s web site (Model Engine News), Geometer wasa nom de plume for Ian Bradley.  I extracted this information from the August 2006 issue.  Per Ron, Mr. Bradley also contributed 106 articles under his name and another 212 articles with Dr. N. F. Hallows as Duplex.

I can’t vouch for the correctness of the above information, hope it helps you out.

I also want to take a moment to offer my most sincere thanks for the wonderful forum and information, especially in the members only areas.  What a tremendous resource.

          Thank you once again.

          John

            Hi John
If it is Ian Bradley, I should not be putting Geometer articles on the website.
            regards David

              Hi David,

In that case his real name was Fred K Bloggs. Long since dead with no heirs.
Could you not open a Post Office savings account in the name of Geometer, in which you could put his royalties, just in case some relative comes forward. Shows willing at least.
Any intellectual property rights lawyers in audience?
