Thought I would join the forum after finishing the restoration of my Myford ML7. complete novice to using a lathe but have learned a lot from the restoration process.

Welcome along Ben, what interests do you have and where in the world are you based ? Do you have any other machines or desires for them ? Ask away for answers to any queries, someone on here will have an answer.

Welcome to the forum Ben. As Chris says, if you have any questions just ask away and remember, there are no silly questions, just, sometimes, silly answers.

                Welcome!

You will always find help and advice on here, sometimes hands on in your locality.

Now you have the lathe up and running, and hopefully fully aligned, you can really enjoy yourself.

Additionally, find a Model Engineering club, nearby and join. Again you will find help when you need it

                Howard

Thanks for all the replies. I am based in Leeds, I have always fancied a Lathe, and thought a restoration project would be a good place to start. I have had the bed/saddle regrind done at slideway services before it closed down. Really happy how the project turned out. Just need to get my head around on how to use it.
