Hi All, I am Dave and retired now. I am rebuilding a 1954 American Dodge Pickup Truck, it came as a rolling chassis and boxes of bits. I have a old Atlas lathe. Just bought this week a Warco Minor mill , old Vee belt type and a new R Tech 180 mig / arc welder. I have been looking on your site for a while and found it interesting reading the forums and classifieds, especially the one about the welder.

Hi Dave welcome to the forum. Have you any pictures of your Dodge Pickup, just interested, I suppose it was made from thicker grade metal in those days. I am an ex-biker and machinery man myself.

These are some pictures of the Dodge truck, they are in reverse order, sorry, but you can see when I bought it in the bottom picture, then middle picture , engine rebuilt and 3rd picture body panels starting to go on. It will have a rat look when finished. Cheers, Dave
