Hello Folks
My primary interest is in vintage car motorsport and I have a 1935 Riley 'special' that is on the road used in anger occasionally in VSCC (vintage sports car club) events.
My reason for being here on the forum is that I enjoy fabricating parts for the Riley, usually in brass which i then 'age' to look like they were made in the 1930's. A couple of years back I bought a vintage Drummond round bed lathe which has been restored to 'working' and is being used for machining more things than i ever considered i would want to machine.
BUT… I am not a machinist and there are many things i dont know the right way of doing, but reading the forum contents over the last few months – it is clear that there are many educated people here who can probably help me.
Thank you in advance to those people
