Hello to all,

I've frequently lurked around the Forum to find information about machine or tool parts, and have usually seen an answer somewhere here. Now that I spend most of my workshop time 'playing with metals' instead of 'working with metals', I thought that I had better come out as an incurable swarf generator! Being self employed for the last 33 years of a 55 year work-life meant that the two activities were pretty well entwined, if a job didn't look interesting or challenging then I'd pass it up, but now that pensions will buy the daily crusts, it is time to press on with The Unfinished Projects​ of which there are more than enough! Loads of new things to try so I will be asking the vast collective knowledge for advice from time to time. Current machines are Boxford VSL, Emco FB2, Pollard Corona, TIG gear, H/V linisher,and all the usual electrical and hand tools that metal bashing needs.

I've often passed through Bunwell on my way to or from Old Buc. for one job or another though that would be just the through road, never been in the old village itself.

it must be warmer in the winter in Diss than down here just above sea level where there's often a bit of winter ice, but this is an ICICLE…………146 cms………………..apologies to all for the wrong orientation, this noobies not yet learned the editing process!
