Hi I live in Yorkshire and have been modelling since the 1960's Started with a rusty file and a bent screwdriver and from there the only way is up . Have built steam locos , traction engines , couple of clocks and various other odds and sods . I recently finished a Shand Mason fire engine to Westburys design . I've posted some photo's of it in the album bit . I'm moderately pleased with it but the paint job is rubbish I have promised myself that I will redo it but !!!!! Workshop consists of a super 7 with plenty of kit a Chester milling machine bought at an exhibition , cheap , Spent 2 weeks with a scraper sorting out slides and making new gibs for it but its O.K now .Usual drills grinders etc much home made . Have just started Radfords fixed Myford topslide has anyone else had a go at this . Enough for now I think .Jeff C
