Being an anti-social old phart I don't even look at any of the social media sites so I am afraid the chances of me following anything is remote to say the least.

I quite like the surprise of a new issue without knowing what is going to be in it. Miffed that I'm going to miss the 'nuggets'.

It happens I have just been checking members email addresses for one of my clubs. 25% do not have email so twitter would be out of the question. I appreciate you are trying to reach the future generation but don't leave the primary demographic behind.

Another anti-social media. Who wants to tell the world that you have left your home empty!! Just been away for a month visiting Singapore, Sydney, New Zealand and Hong Kong, all the Asian people seem to see while on holday is their mobile phone screen. Caught a glimpse of a few after the required selfie in front of something and straight onto some social media network. Do they ever look up and take in the view, no wonder we moan about trying persuading youngsters to make something with there hands, they can't because they only have one hand as the phone is permanently in the other.

I'm with Jason on this one regarding using separate email addresses for different areas of ones life.

Twitter is only really useful when on a mobile device and I never look at it my PC but I find tweets from the local police giving details of traffic, road closures etc very useful. I have followed ME since it started but in all honesty cannot say I would miss it if I was not a follower.

I do think there are just too many social media sites, I occasionally look at FB and have seen suggestions by disgruntled Yahoo group members to move their group to FB. As bad as Yahoo is I just dont see how FB would be better as I find FB really lightweight and somewhat transient.
