I see this in the blank space above the latest postings page:

Has anyone got a clue what would generate such a message?

Neil,

Management have probably upgraded your permissions without telling you. Jason and myself, as moderators see different screens to the rest of the unwashed.

I'd expect you to have more privileges than Jason or myself.

John S. – As a moderator you may well be seeing different screens to the rest of us "unwashed". However, please be aware that to "us" – when you are around there is an odd smell in the room!

i don't suppose I will ever discover what caused it… unless I google it.

Well LOTS of hits! It seems it may be a warning thrown up by Drupal from time to time. At least I know what CMS we use now!
