Well Guys , some prannock had to start it, so :-

HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all on the website.

Hope everyone has a peacfeful time and have made enough hints so that all the relations and loved ones bought bits that although strange to some may be useful to the likes of us.

And to the two unsung heroes, DC1 and you too Richmond, heres hoping that the rest of the M/E management get THEIR fingers out next year to save the headless chicken syndrome that you two have had to bear.

Not sure about the headless chicken bit?

Surely it should be headless turkeys at this time of year?

Management have ensured that the digital editions have gone on-line for your benefit.
Yes there are minor teething problems but they can be overcome in the New Year.

Everyone at MyHobbyStore works very hard but occasionally we get it wrong.

All we can do is do our best and if it goes wrong, put it right as soon as possible.

Yup, got a good result on that score! (I had to order it, but SWMBO paid)

And also, I’d like to reiterate Season’s Greetings to everybody – whatever you’re of a religious persuasion or not – and even if you’re bah humbug…

And I think that the ever-hard-working and put-upon D.C. is correct – I checked, and a) it’s definitely a turkey, and b) it’s headless. So he gets marks for turkey analysis too! Carry on the good work, David – it’s appreciated.

Hi Everyone

It is that time of year again.

Happy Christmas to all of you.

I have an agreement with the wife, I have Cristmas day morning off and start work in the afternoon.

My present has not arrived, it should be with me Tuesday or Wednesday I hope.

SWMBO is paying for it.

I picked it, organised it and am looking forward to recieving it.

It is a nice RLE Hopper Engine, an unmachined kit.
It has take a long while to track one down and I am looking forward to building it.

I hope you all get what you want.

The issues of MEW and ME on sale mid to late January have a great subscription offer (sorry UK only).
It is a copy of Peter Wright’s book, Foundations of Model Engineering, the ideal beginners guide.
This is a big thick book, probably the equivalent of about 6 Workshop Practice books combined.

Get yourself a late Christmas present in January.
