No, they shouldn’t.  Looks like a bug that causes excessive moderation has escaped again, and it’s been re-reported.

So far all my posts on the Model Boats forum required approval, and I’m the most trustworthy person on the internet!

Much bigger images can be loaded on to this site, about 3Mb if my memory is working properly.   I’ve had the 8kB message loading a picture other than a PNG or JPG.

Ok, time to test inserting images – me trying to spin a boiler endplate:

Drag and drop seems to work well.

trying to find a space to add text after adding photo. Ah, it appeared at the top.

managed to get to the bottom too.

Right click on the image gave me an option to edit (windows 10) with very limited facility but easy shrink. Save in that window dumped a numbered file in my ‘downloads’ which I could then drag into this thread as per initial instructions.
