Hope I'm not being thick… I don't think I am, I've flicked through several times.

I can't see any announcement of last month's competition winner or, perhaps more importantly, no competition for this month?!

What gives??

That will be the one in MEW 318

Given the timing of when the mag is on sale, time for entries to get in and the lead time on publication it's very unlikely to get the results in the next months mag particularly as the closing date for the competition was only 16th August!

Not usual to have a competition every month so don't expect one.

Don't really understand why you would expect a comp every month as their wasn't one in 317,316,315,314,ZZZZZZ!

I keep seeing this thread title, well twice today, and wondering what 'comps' are. I do wish people would think a bit about using titles that are meaningful and when appropriate easy for search engines to find as having relevant content.

You're not confusing the competition with Readers Tips, are you? That gives the "winner" Chester Machine Tool vouchers as an incentive.
