As a matter of interest to those that matter, the latest issue of MEW is 173 (see home page). It has been out since 21 Jan.

I have tried to buy MEW 173 today because of the basla stripper designs but I found that MEW 174 is out so went to read ME 4398 on the digital subscription only to find it is not there.
I would of expected better than this from the website why is not being updated properly ?

            Hi There
            This is unacceptable.
I have spoken to the office and it will be uploaded ASAP.
Neither Diane or I can upload the magazine.
This requires special software that we do not have access to.
            regards David

great issue , 2nd ever, I like the references so I can learn about what is being written. and those little overview boxes help too.

I would still like a beginners page (It does not have to be massive) and perhaps a list of local contacts with email addresses? What about a local suppliers article going round the UK sourcing scrap yards and model engineering suppliers. I would also like an article of toll buying and how to avid cheap tolls like vices that just seem too good to be true for the price?

                Hi All,

The ME issue 4402 has apparently been available on the newsstands (in the UK) since 22nd April. So it should have been available in the Archive some days before that.

As it is now the 26th (well at least it is in OZ) when might we expect it to “appear” in the ME “Archive” on the website.

The whole matter of magazine issues being available on the website seems to be a bit of a “hit and miss” affair. Even MEW 176 is not displayed on the front page YET!! And I got my issue in OZ a week ago.

                    Hi There
I have complained and they are doing it now.
The person in charge of digital issues is on holiday but I will complain when she is back.
The digital edition should be available online by the day it is in the shops at the absolute latest and preferably earlier.
                    regards David
