I've just subscribed to ME, don't know why it's taken me so long. Anyway, I need to acquire volumes 118 – 120 for my new Pansy project. Unfortunately the volumes don't venture back that far. Do I really need to pay for these volumes or is there another way. Just paid out £50, I'm not to fussed but was hoping that would allow access to these volumes. Thanks

You're talking about 1955, computers had only just been invented. Scanners and word processors just a pipe dream but were common because loads of people still smoked pipes. surprise

Your best bet is to join your local ME club and see if it has a library, or a member with the volumes.

You should be able to pic up whole volumes for £2.00 a go, that was what they were selling for at the Guildford show at the weekend

Haha, Yep just twigged that after searching the volumes. Found a site that are selling second hand copies. Condition is stated as pretty good.

I have a model railway just down the road, and as off last week joined. The experience their engineer have is invaluable.

You could also try The Miniature Railway Supply Co, they bought all the stock from the Tool Box in Colyton, Devon
