Hector Halhead Stewart was a New Zealander who was terribly interested in steam automobiles and steam busses from the late teens through the 1930s.
He had a Stanley Steam Car dealership in New Zealand, worked on the Doble Steam Busses in Auckland, and came to America several times.
He wrote about his experiences in an article in Model Engineer and Light Machinery Review on October 29 1925.
Does anyone have a copy of this issue and article? I don't necessarily want to acquire a copy, although it would be nice to have in the archive, but I do need the information in it. I'd be more than happy with a decent quality scan.
Did Stewart write anything else in this journal? Is there an index of authors? Does this journal exist in a library somewhere or on microfilm or on line?
Thanks very much!
