Google it… I was sceptical, but it appears to be a real thing. Can't see if it's actually better than something that leaves a hard iron phosphate or iron II oxide layer to replace the rust?

And the price…

If a diy, home workshop model is released one day, I could be tempted. A 3D printer was once out of reach, now I have two.

That's an impressive bit of kit. I've actually just aquired a small laser marker, only 5Watts power. Just finding my feet with this new-to-me technology.

Chap on my team at work developed a laser system for removing the surface of contaminated concrete. It worked a treat on all the bits of demolition concrete we had on our site, but didn't touch samples from another site. Turned out ours had limestone aggregate the other was granite. If you heat limestone it produces CO2 which spalls the surface off, granite just gets hot.

It only produces heat, so they must paint something onto the rust and the reaction deals with it?
