I bought this at an Horological Auction, on Tuesday

Cast Aluminium … Overall height approx. 420mm

I presume it's intended for mounting a Regulator movement, with the Pendulum seperately supported on the wall-plate … That's certainly what I have in mind for it.

But: Before I start designing something around it … Does anyone recognise the casting? … is it a commercial item, or a one-off?

      Grateful for any advice

      MichaelG.

          Hi Michael,

I thought it might be one of these, but it looks like it isn't! Similar to the one for the regulator though.

            Thanks Neil

Synchronome, and Gent's PulSynetic, both have the mechanism assembled directly onto the backplate.
… I'm sure that your second thought is closer to the mark.

                Bob,

                "Overall height approx. 420mm"

The webs range from 15-20mm thick
