My Birthday today and my lovely family clubbed together to buy me a steam rail driver experience on the Avon Valley railway.

Well the date finally came, had my driving experience yesterday, A brilliant day all round, nice friendly people, got to to do the firemans bit, changing points, opening crossing gates, coupling/uncoupling, shunting, guard van duty as well as driving.

A nice little line with an excellent restaurant (gets my top marks as they do a good range of gluten free meals & snacks, important to me being a coeliac)

And beautiful weather to boot, perfick!
