He lived in East Ilsey and ran a 5in SECR P Class ( a very unusual class to do) in Southern sunshine livery ( i think, not being well up on the Southern liveries, but it has SOUTHERN with the number underneath which i think is not a P class loco.

Anyway his wife wants to know if anyway does recall him. He emigrated to Canada in the early 80s or so

I didnt realise this was the non funny comedians forum. I would have thought a moderator would have had a bit more sense.

A bit more info.

He has died and his widow wants to know if anyone over here can remember him. i have tried the local societies ,but there may well be some 'loners' on here who may get their memory jogged

I think she is looking for a bit of closure

Perhaps when you fall off the perch your wife may want to to a bit more insight into his hobby. I am just passing on her request
