I have wasted too many hours over the last few days, trying [and failing] to identify a simple lens mount … so in desperation, I turn to the forum:
I recently purchased a couple of Panasonic WV-AD16A ‘C Mount Lens Adapters’ … basically because they are nicely made, and look a convenient starting-point for making some ‘specials’
There are quite a few of these listed on ebay … but none of the sellers specifically identifies the camera that they were made-for
Obviously, I can measure the 3-tab bayonet, but curiosity must be satisfied !!
Well I certainly don't know what it fits, but this seller from 2014 is including one with some other bits and claims it's for a Panasonic F10, so that might be a place to start looking.
There seems to be quite a few of those cameras about, but I don't know which other models might share the same lens mount.
It looks like that model was superceded by the F15, but Can't find any old literature saying what mount they used, though I think both were 2/3 sensor, so I wonder if they were an early B4 mount.
The trouble is that B4 and C have totally different flange to sensor distances.
Peak 4 has the answer, that adaptor is for the Panasonic F10. The exact part number for the C mount lens adaptor is in the F10 manual. That camcorder was a semi professional VHS with a bayonette lens mount, I don't know if any other of their cameras used the same mount.
Not an expert on cameras but Wikipedia tells me the C mount is 1in x 32 tpi so I assume your question is entirely about the bayonet part.
The first ebay seller I looked at was "…Classic Cameras" so maybe he knows a bit and a phone call could find him helpful? By chance i will pass within half a mile of him tomorrow on my way to EDMES public running session but being a Sunday I doubt he will be open.

Thanks, both … that’s just what I needed to know

I can't edit my earlier post now, but if you follow the second link to the RadioMuseum, it looks like there was an adaptor for the F15 lenses to the earlier F10, which would explain the flange length differences, so the later F15 (B4???) lenses could be used on the F10, but not vice versa.
