      Hi my name is Paul rogers I live at thatcham berks,I have just retired. I have a myford 7.and a seig 1.and a pillar drill.

      I am trying to build a stuart Turner h10.all so a s50.i am makeing loads of mistakes.so far I have got over them.so far I am learning fast.in the future I will invest in a mill, I find it hard to try use the lathe as a mill.

          Hello Paul and welcome to the forum. One of my first models was the Stuart V10 which is not so different from the H10.

          They do say that making mistakes is the fastest way to learn, which may be true but it can be heartbreaking if you keep having to make the same parts.

          If there is anything specific that you need help with you have but to ask on the forum.

            Welcome Paul. Lots of knowledge to be had on this forum. I used to make loads of mistakes , but now only about 1 a day. angry.

              I have always belied if it is not hard it is not worth doing. I used to think I was an OK engineer, now I know I am not. Since I retired and started doing more ME i think I have gone backwards, but every mountain I climb, turns out to be but a foot hill. But by eck the view is grand.
