I would not normally do this, but the circumstances mean it is a bit different from the usual classified.
I have been contacted by a former forum member whose health is failing faster than he expected.
With regret he has to leave the hobby, and says "since neither of my lads are remotely interested I'd like very much to help an enthusiast into the Hobby.".
"I'll sell all this stuff for £500.00 for the lot.
1 mini lathe with cutters etc.
1 Unimat (unit type) micro lathe, plus extras.
1 mini mill (Clarke) with tools etc.
1 micro mill (Clarke) with some extras.
1 Linisher (Clarke) with spare set of belts.
1 6"grinder (Clarke)
1 1/2 ton arbor press
1 4" vise (Draper)
Various vises and clamps
1 Band saw with spare blades
1 Bench drill press with height extension on height
1 Cross slide work table from Arc or some such.
There are boxes or milling cutters and drills and so on Neil but I can't be bothered to list it all. I know this must sound defeatist or wasteful but I haven't got time to mess around. I don't want any quibblers mind as I might just as well give it away."
I'm sure an offer of over £500 would be welcome, but the seller has more interest on speed and a good home for the equipment.
It will have to be buyer collects, the tools are near Bristol. It sounds like a van load rather than a car load and I imagine that two people will be needed to move it all safely.
I would like find someone who would benefit from a hand up in getting into the hobby, and avoid it all going to someone who will simply put it all on ebay.
Could anyone who is interested email me at neil.wyatt@mytimemedia.com before Friday evening, please. If I get multiple offers I will pass them all on together.
Thanks
Neil
