I have a Topsy organ which I made a few yeas ago. The music is stored as midi files on te laptop and then 'played' by aplaymidi (Linux) down the USB to a decoder which operates the solenoid pallet valves. It all works very well, but aplaymidi is a console program so you have to type in various mantras to get it to work. Anyone know of a GUI alternative, Linux or W10

In the unlikely event of anyone wanting to further their knowledge of Topsy organs see topsy It's a lot nearer finished now!
