The Baldwin 50hp Gas Mechanical had an electric conduit from the cab mounted dash board box up the corner of the cab to the rear lamp. After some Internet research I found that the makers was Crouse-Hinds. They made lots of traffic signals in the US are still part of the Eaton Company. The Condulet range originally fitted to the loco are still in production today, which I did find surprising.

I had a great deal of trouble to find the hexagonal logo they used a hundred years ago.

I thought it might be nice to model the elbows and end fittings and see if Michael Jack of Stanier Engineering in Auckland NZ. can make them a silicon bronze reality. he has worked wonders in the past, with plates and bits for my loco and more recently for a 5" gauge K1 Garratt.

My pictures show the end fitting rendered in bronze, with a semi transparent conduit end in copper; below is the LL type elbow rendered in cast iron with a brass cover plate. The miniatures will have an 8mm bore if feasible.
