Hi jason yep there chatter marks ,not made out of soild ,but pipe with a flat plate welded in and machined back.had a bit of chatter at the end.

hi again a bit more progress on my Minnie build, front axle almost done bronze bearings sorted in the front wheels ,expansion link sorted eccentric straps done .Gear cutters arrived last Thursday cast iron bar due tomorrow gear cutting for the next step,or next week or two more like.

Hello all here is my first attempt at cutting gears for my 2" Minnie build .I,am very pleased with the results .15t and 20t done now for the rest .

a bit more on the 2" Minnie gear cutting I think its going well as I have had no comments saying otherwise so will carry on ,gears for the crank sorted ,think ill have a go at the crankshaft next ,before going on to other gears ,oh and key way for the gears I have cut .will post more pics as I get along.
