Eileen's Emporium do some brass sections but their site is down for maintenance at the moment so can't check sizes as your need may be a bit large.

is soldering Tee section together an option?

?Curtain track – though uncertain if you will get the right dimensions, you might get close…

Hunter & Hyland might be 8.5×19..

I believe Eileens Emporium have sadly ceased trading as of this month. They will be sadly missed!

I think curtain track is not symmetrical, at least not the ones I have seen.

Is the 1200mm the full length of the finished item or the total stock requirement?

If the finished work is lots of short pieces, and depending on exterior appearance, it may be possible to make each piece by slitting a length of square tube into two and soldering them back-to-back. Or better, if available, brass channel of appropriate size.

Distortion might be a problem though, unless heated very evenly.

I used something like that principle to make the H-section beam front axle for my steam wagon, but that is of larger section, steel, and welded. The stock was folded channel.

It’s not actually for me. A friend is making a Norfolk Wherry and he needs it in the length.

If it had been shorter I could have made it up but he really needs the length.

Thank you for the replies. I will investigate them all.

According to Facebook, that appears to be the case, but I've no confirmation

What is preventing you making it in that length?

If it is the travel on your machine not being long enough, some creative fixturing that allows you to cut a section, slide it along and then cut another section will overcome that.

As it is brass, it can be cut with a 6mm or 1/4" carbide end mill held in a trim router. For the authentic rolled section look, use one with a corner radius.

Very Sadly Eileens Emporium have gone into administration. This was posted on a number of modelling associated websites on December 11th.

I am very sorry to have to tell you that Russan Limited, trading as Eileens Emporium has ceased trading and appointed liquidators. We have done our best to send out all the stock we have for pre-paid orders. I am sorry that we were not able to complete all of them.

Any clains against the business should be sent to:
