Another probably bonkers question here, I have the Fobco in pieces and when I removed the quill the depth stop bumper-O ring (quill washer) has a split in it and I have spent quite some time searching for rubber washers- bumpers and the like to no avail, not that I am unable to find any, but nothing which shall suit. perhaps it is my Ocd, but the original is flat and I would prefer to replace it with the same if at all possible.

With my vernier the OD is 65.83 mm and ID is 44.76 mm with a thickness of 3.8 mm, there is a slight gap between the rubber and the drill so ideally this could go up to 5 mm thickness.

You would not think a rubber washer of the right dimensions so difficult to source so would appreciate any links anybody may have, please do enlighten me.

It is probably an Imperal size to start with, and the place I go to here in NZ has metric and imperial sizes of O-rings in both round and suqare section, this place is a specialist hydralics retailer.

Don't know where you are located but we use a company called Manchester Seals for our hydraulic seals etc. They are good at matching seals, o rings etc. when we can't obtain them from the original manufacturer. Give them a call on 0161 832 7992.

Hmmm, I received one quote today £6.50 each plus £4.00 packing + vat. I have tried calling Manchester seals to no avail, I noticed on the G images, someone had refurbished a star up and used what appears to be large cork washers, can't find any of these to suit either. If any one has any other ideas it would be appreciated.

I just got a piece of 3mm flat rubber sheet and using a pair of dividers scribed to circles till cut through and made my own.
