I have been playing about with my Hobbymat Milling machine. But have realised it just isn't powerful enough to cope with the things I need to make. it's fine for soft metals like Brass or aluminium. Not so for hardened steel, stainless, etc.

So reluctantly I am forced to sell. it's in very good condition and has a mill chuck fitted a few accessories like collets T nuts manuals etc. I was just wondering what would be a good price to sell it at and if anybody was looking for one? it's a brilliant machine for model railway and stuff all works fine.

I have had it in my workshop since about 2018. but just hadn't got round to doing anything with it apart from cleaning it up and trying to work it. Giving up and doing other stuff, then trying again. Only recently i wanted to make a specific part for my Bike so thought I would really go all out to try and find some info on it and joined this forum to see if this would be the way. I then quickly realised that the Hobbymat is really only suitable for model engineering like steam trains. Brass and other soft type metals. Which is what my late father in law used it for… So was just wondering what sort of price would be a sensible amount?
