I was recently ofered an unfinished 2" Clayton that was part built. As I was looking for a re-start project I though this was a good project to take on as I have already part built one before.. It has a chassis, half an engine, axles, wheels and the cab already built. The chassis and engine cases are in brass not steel as mine was. I bought a steering shaft and nut with a two start thread from Blackgates. This is no longer available and I woulder if any one knows of a suplier. Also I have tryed to track down the articals about the reduction gearing by Bernard Lunberg with no luck. Has any one got the articals they could copy and send to me or sell me. Plus if any one has a set of drawings they would like to sell I would be intrested.

The reduction gear was by Ron Cockerill. Essentially it is a case of buying 24T and 12T sprockets and fitting them somewhere in between the crankshaft and the rear axle.
