I am nearing completion of John Hainings 2" scale Caradoc steam tractor for use as a DeWinton type 7, 7/4 0-4-0VB loco.
When I assemble the engines and rotate the crankshaft, the end of the piston hits the rear cylinder cover.
Ive checked everything, but its as if the engine centres are slightly too close, but are not when Ive checked this.
Has anyone had similar problems? The problem comes down to about around 1/16". But enough!
Cheers
