      I want to purchase myself a suitable torch for making up my 1" scale Minnie boiler.

      I'm wondering if the following basic kit from Sievert would be suitable?

            Hi Mark,

            That looks like a 7.7KW burner 2941, which is way too big. Seek advice re more appropriate burners.

              Thanks for the advice. I've ended up going for the standard kit and an additional 3939 burner which is 0.9Kw.

              I'm hoping that should be okay, but having invested in the Sievert route it looks like there are plenty of options for other burners in case I've made the wrong choice.
