Has anyone used the "Reliant Rubber Co" for vulcanising tyres on model traction engine wheels ?

      Richard.

Reliant get quite good reviews from those that have used them, They can groove and profile the rubber once its on and will also shotblast the wheels after vulcanising as it gets a bit messy.

I also recently saw some done by B H Leake that had the rear rubber cut so it looked like strakes.

If you are not a member of traction talk forum then join up and then use the advanced search to look for "rubber" in the model engines section, plenty of threads about the subject there.

This one which you will need to be a member to view shows some of Reliants work on Julia Olds 6" GMT
