Are there any other builders of the Red Wing engine nearing completion ? My cam is same shape as the plan . It opens the exhaust valve at the right time but it wont hold the valve as long as the plan tells me . It should stay open nearly to TDC . Mine closes about half way up the stroke

I am making a new cam with longer opening time to try , but I just wondered if I was going wrong some where

RCDon used a flatter topped cam rather than the more rounded one that is on my set of drawings

this new cam holds the valve open for the correct time, but very different from the one on the plan Any one else found this ?
