Just bought one of these packed with Dremel like a accessories for about £12 and well impressed with the range and apparent good quality of the items. Assuming they last reasonably, well worth a pint at that price.

I also bought this kit together with the Dremel like power tool and flexible extension. This runs smoothly and quietly.

Time will tell if it is good value but seems so at £29.50. Lidl sold out in under four days recently.

            Mike,

I guess you must live in London if a pint costs £12!!

            wink

I bought one of the Lidl cordless rotary tools which is in the Dremel style, the PFBS 12 C5, not so long ago, and also a kit of extra cutters and think it is very good.

                  Nope.

Both John and Bernard would have seen that is not the case, had they checked Mike’s earliest posting – unless he has moved recently.

A good idea, mind. How much might one be charged for a pint these days?

Sorry guys, obviously finger trouble, should have read PUNT not pint. Mind you, perhaps I was thinking about later today!

I am paying £3.50 for a pint of 'bottom of the range' hand-pulled real ale at the moment in two nearby village hostelries. I have no idea how much the 'fizzy-pop' costs that comes from the T-Bar, but I suspect it is a lot more expensive. I think the nearest 'Spoon's' were selling an acceptable beer for £1.71 but unless I have a 'chauffeuse' when she goes into town shopping, I obviously can't get there.

I used to think the model engineering was a rich man's hobby but now I am not so sure!

I saw about half a dozen of the £12.99 tool kits in the big Lidl at Weston Super Mare today, I already have lots, so gave them a miss.

I bought one of these bit kits about a year ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were additional parts under the top layer.
