Is there anywhere i can find to bore of gauge glass? 6 or 8mm OD preferred for 5in gauge loco

I have some 6mm gauge glass, I will see if I can measure bore and get back to you.

Hi Ron, sorry for the delay, a quick trip to hospital for a ultrasound scan resulted in two days stay.

So as promised, a 23 drill fits nicely in the bore of 6mm gauge glass so that makes it about 0.154 inches.

Thanks Ron, I am ok thanks, cutting a very long story short I have had a lot of severe upset tums since xmas so much so that on two occasions I was taken into A&E after blacking out, problem of low electrolyte levels. Visit to GP (yes an actual face to face) he arranged for this scan, all looked fine apart from a bladder full to bursting, they couldn't believe I was not in pain. So another day as they say. Decided that having tried this getting old business I am going to tick the opt out box.
