        I was at a friend of mines workshop this morning and I found this on one of his shelves. **LINK**

        It was probably someones prize possession at one time. smiley looks to have done very little work and is just grubby and in need of some TLC. He seems to think it was a watchmakers lathe. I am wondering if anyone can shed any information as to it's origin and age.?

          It's basically a 'Geneva Pattern' watchmaker's lathe … but the extended nose looks unusual.

          They were typically bored for 6mm or 8mm collets

          That one looks a little larger [… or is it just the lens?]

          The Dividing Holes on the pulley are very useful.
