been given this in with load of old bits from model steam engine club i recently joined.

seen pic on net of it as lathe.

not good with comps, does anyone have pics or list of bits that are missing?

      or even link to manual.

i want to try and make missing bits if possible whilst at club as learning experience.

      cheers

A hint as to what you've been given might help!

Mmm, from the page source it seems like your pics are on Photobucket, at:

            **LINK**

Way I did it was to use Photobucket's 'get link codes' button, then 'direct' and copy the code there. Then go back to the forum and hit the image button, paste into the URL line, and hit OK.

Looks like a useful milling set-up.

Intro vid – the bit you have is actually for drilling not milling it seems – in fact yours looks like a very cut down version.

Congratulations with your "new" toy. I have had one for many years, flexible little machine. I now use it as a small milling and grinding spindle mounted in my (larger) lathe.

Take a look at the Website FAQs, especially on posting pictures:

Neil, that advice could do with cleaning up – specificially, it would be less confusing if you deleted your initial suggestion of stripping out tags etc., and all of the subsequent discussion, and just left the post from JasonB at
02/01/2015 13:50:18 which shows how to do it the easy way. For a proper job you could edit it to be self-contained i.e. not referring to other unspecified threads.

In fact, if that thread is supposed to be a useful help reference, I'd suggest deleting all extraneous discussion and just leave the advice posts.

found loads of stuff listed on e-bay for sl 1000.

all mine says on it is sl.

                          it's m12 x 1 as are bits on e-bay will they fit?
