Hi all,

For those of yoiu who are interested I have just downloaded a programme from threading specialists Vargus. It is a free download and is a superb programme with a whole host of threads covered. It displays the preffered No of passes for a given thread for, Radial,Flank and modified flank in feed or you can specify the amount of passes you want and it will give all the relevant info. Brilliant.

Forgot to add,it is the programme Vardex TT [thread turning] NOT the one Vardex TM [thread milling].

Good find for those with cnc.

Just inputted a certain thread i did last week M28.5 X 0.75 x 11 long. Came out 9.75 mins at 2546rpm. At 40 rpm manually took 6 mins to the thou inc setup.
