Hi Guys,
I own an OMRON H3M and H3BA electronic timer which I wish to repair but need to remove the case without hearing that spine-chilliong crack (yes, I’ve been down this road before!). Since (unfortunately) I’m not equipped with X-ray vision I am unable to know whether the adjuster knob is either splined to the potentiometer shaft rigidly mounted on the electronic chassis or else attached with flying leads. The difference is whether the knob needs to be removed first or not or else the outer case slips off over the inner chassis. Does anyone know before I proceed.
I’m also looking cautiously at the press tabs holding the case on as they alluringly invite me to prise them off with a couiple of screwdriver tips. Methinks a jigging tool might be safer. Any comments appreciated.
