My God they are proud of what they sell are they not ?

1980's Bedford TM which was the biggest heap of crap made by Bedfords ever £7,500 ???????

34 year old truck that won't pass any emission checks today and zilch in the way of spares.

That workshop is basically a porta cabin with a £1500 lathe in it.

Wouldn't it be a bit too expensive if you have to by a big truck to move the workshop? Nice lathe though.

              That's a Harrison m300 nice lathe worth a bit more than £1500

a well sought after machine probably worth nearer £3000 if in good nick

              Best Wishes Martin

I am sorry John but I would disagree on this point. In my opinion the Bedford CF was the biggest pile of. I know, I know this from first hand experience.  We had one.

They are hopeful: Stateside we were looking at a couple of very low milage trucks complete with fully equiped workshops and generators on the back for that sort of price. We even looked into the shipping costs they were that reasonable wink 2

Bedford CF? Lovely bit of kit! Drove one down from Liverpool, at Stoke it sounded like a machine gun in the cab. lifted the engine cover while still running and the plug was lying on top igniting the mixture being forced out of the hole…

Put plug back in finger tight and drove the last 25 miles home

Seller had checked the plugs before selling it.

Loads of problems with losing power on the way back from Scotland (after 1000 trouble free miles on holiday) Loose wire on the points!

Aside from two patches I had to weld up for the MOT (both cosmetic but within a foot of a suspension point) that's all I recall going wrong in two years of adventure. Enough power to climb from Lynmouth to Lynton without a hiccough in third. Just drank petrol…

Forgot the pic! Went to a good home but you can see the condition.
