Hello all, This is my first post so please excuse me if this has been covered before. Ive recently aquired a myford super 7 with gear box. i would like to cut some metric threads so following a thread in the workshop techniques section i fitted a 33 tooth gear on the tumbler stud as per chart the problem i have is the next gear wheel in the train will not engage this gear as the quadrant cut out will not allow the gear wheel to be adjusted down enough. Any advice would be very welcome.

Most time the 33 / 34 combination will fit but sometimes the slot of the quadrant is a bit shy on length and has to be cleaned out with a round file.
