CNC4You in the UK are using a one letter spelling variation in the domain (by dropping one "P" ) to try to direct customers looking for Zapp Automation in the UK to the wrong site presumably in the hope of hijacking some business, on the .com variant they are even suppressing their own business name and logo the better to fool customers so there is obviously nefarious intent there!
I urge anyone who abhors this kind of behaviour to let CNC4you know that,
      Regards,
      Nick

Well they appear to have stopped doing this for the time being, but it's a really crappy trick to have come up with in the first place!
I will still never spend a dime with them after this scam.

            Isn't that just business?

            Take famous brand " utterly butterly" or " i can't believe it's not butter"….and before long everyone's at it……

I'm not convinced, i'll stick with good old fashioned artery clogging butter, or better still ~ lard! wink

              .

              Samuel,

I think that using 'Zap Automation' …. when there is already someone trading as 'Zapp Automation' … comes much closer to "passing off" [although it is unlikely to be enforceable unless both firms are under the same jurisdiction].

Butter, however, is a substance not a brand.

                Ok Michael,

I get your point~ there's sailing close to the wind & then there are acts of utter piracy.

Is this the new headquarters for MI6?..

I think I could see a sign inside that said 'Queue this way'.

It's called "passing off." See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passing_off
