I've bought one of these off e-bay

      **LINK**

It's arrived, but no wiring diagram. I can work out the motor connections, and I might work out the inputs, but no idea what the various switches do. I guess the red block sets the microstepping, but no idea on 3 black ones. Anyone got any ideas?

I've tried and failed on google, and have messaged the vendor

          Duncan,

Please forgive me for stating the obvious [especially if I'm wrong] but it all appears to be printed on the board.

          .

P.S. … Looks a nice board, at a great price … hope it works well.

The silkscreen shown in the “details” of that link.
              Details SW1 -3 and S1 set current

And otherh functions for S2 to S6
              S2 stop current
              S3, 4 micro stepping ( mode)
              00/ 1/ : 01 /2: 11/8: 10 /16
              S5S6 decay..
              00 0%
              10 25%
              01 50%
              11 100%

It apears that in the time taken to type the above ..others has also provided solution

It looks like the three black switches plus the first red one set the drive current.

Red 2 is the hold current between moves

Red 3/Red 4 appear to set the microstepping level

Red 5/Red 6 decay, presumably how quickly the current decays to the hold level.

                  Hi Duncan,
This board looks the same as the one I used on my rotary table. My board was clearly labled like the one in the picture on the ebay advert that is in your link. Here is a link to some information that shows the labels if they are missing on your board.

                  Les,

Thanks chaps, Sometimes one can really ask a silly question, as MichaelG and LesJ say it's printed on the board, but you need a very bright light to even see there is something there, never mind read it. I hadn't spotted it. The link from Russel is much more helpful.

                    Thanks again

I used the same as Russel's link with an identical driver controlled by an Arduino Uno for a rotary table.
