      Whilst looking on ebay … I noticed this: **LINK**

      https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314370991841

      To the best of my knowledge, the ML7 back-gear has 65 teeth, but the Super 7 and the ML7R have 60

      Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

      MichaelG.

            Agreed, so this will only fit properly on one or the other, or perhaps neither.

              I printed one of these on my 3d printer. I can't remember the link but I did find two versions; The first one I printed was wrong so therefore super 7; The second was correct and has been in use now for probably a year. Well worth the printing;

                A smart seller would make one to suit a 62 1/2 tooth bull gear.

                Maybe one of our experts could model a 1 MOD or 1 DP 60t external gear meshing with 20 teeth of a 62 1/2t internal gear (or 65t external / 62 1/2t internal) and put a number the lack of fit. That number would scale directly to the actual DP of the Myford gear.

                  Why would you want one of these for a Super 7 ?

                  They are equipped as standard with a spindle lock pin that engages with the spindle pulley set.

                    .

                    I probably wouldn’t … I was just drawing attention to what appeared to be an unfortunate error on the ebay listing.

                      This seller has two different types.

                      one for ML7 one for ML10 / Super 7

                        Thanks for finding those, Robert … but it doesn’t stop the first listing being wrong.

                          The confusion may have arisen because there are two versions of the ML7. The earlier version has a bull wheel with 65 teeth as Michael says. Myford rationalised production and replaced it by the ML7R which used the same headstock as the Super 7 with a 60 tooth bull wheel.
