The screw adjuster at the back of the ram to help accurately set the stroke endpoint is unusual and may well be a unique refinement on such a small shaper.

Klopp and Heinmann had similar adjusters on some of their large machines but they always cast the name onto the machine. As far as i'm aware they didn't make shapers that small either.

The essential dimension of a shaper is the maximum length of the stroke. This dimension is missing!

As mentioned you have an offset ram position adjuster, so find this, and you have your answer

                        offset1.jpg

The front slide gib adjustment nuts are HUGE if they are originals

From the shape of the guards, the position of the clutch lever and the stroke length indicator, it looks like it's either an Atlas shaper or a clone of one.

The side controls say royal/viceroy to me… but that ram adjustment has to be designed from the ground up to fit into the bullwheel mechanism

It's not offset… it was the picture..

What country is the shaper in? And are the nuts and bolts etc in metric or imperial?

I checked the list of shapers again and only Atlas and Heinemann have ram position adjuster behind of machine
I am from Europe, I checked nuts and bolts are in metric
The height adjustment of the table is in front of machine
I always have something weird that I can't figure out what it is

Well your name seems Polish so assuming you are thereabouts it is likely an eastern block copy or adaptation of a better documented make. Perhaps reaching out to German and Polish forums will be more forthcoming.
