Hi

i am building a ground level 5 inch gauge railway in my garden, i would like to use a rail bender as supplied by ride on railways and others but they are £99. Does any know of plans or used rail benders for ali track up to 21mm.

Hi Dave ,

Take a shortcut on this – many model engineering societies and a few individuals have already made rail benders . On payment of a returnable deposit a friend of mine was able to borrow one from a club for a few weeks almost for nothing except for a voluntary donation to club funds .
